The Revolution held a board meeting on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Meeting minutes are as follows:
Matt Shoda spoke of the state of affairs in regards to sponsorship packages and opportunities. He also discussed upcoming appointments.
Golden Whetman spoke on the public relations side. He showcased the current marketing package and brochures. He also discussed the “theme song” of the Wasatch Revolution which is sure to bring tons of energy and enthusiasm from the fans.
Jeff Wheeler reported on the functionality and issues that are ongoing in the upkeep of the website. Jeff suggested methods for other Revolution board members to “get their butts in gear” in getting him the proper information. *Gulp*
Charlie Peterson led a discussion for different job opportunities within the Revolution organization OUTSIDE of football itself. Many new staff positions were filled that will bring tremendous value to the organization.
Head Coach Eric Drage reported on personnel issues. He discussed different strategies to maintain our player pipeline. Eric also announced the help of former BYU All-American Andy Boyce and BYU standout Tyler Anderson as assistant coaches. Ev Matagi was invited but was not present at the meeting.
Others present at the meeting include Nate Washington, Reed Taylor, Bryant Jones, Roger Schulze.
Special thanks and consideration to Steve Stookey and his company for hosting the board meeting.
Remember – football practice is on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Bingham HS. Helmets and Shoulder Pads.
