The Doctor Darin Smith
On Saturday, June 6th at 7 p.m. the 1-6 Davis Cowboys will line up against the 6-1 Wasatch REVolution. Despite Cowboys Owner Tim Taylor’s best efforts to field a winning organization, it just hasn’t been their year. They are walking into a firestorm as the Wasatch REVolution are on a 6 game winning streak and look to solidify at least the #2 in the RMFL playoffs.
The REV have some fantastic opportunities in front of them. With a victory over the Cowboys, the REV will have a guaranteed HOME GAME ON SATURDAY, JUNE 13 for the 1st round of the RMFL Playoffs!
There have been some concerns for the REVolution as of late. Nagging injuries are always difficult to overcome. WR Toby Christensen and C John Proctor will be OUT as is All-Star LB Brady Nielson. Also, hurting is LB Brandon Messenger and RB George Uyema. The REV are hoping for a swift recovery from these players in time to field an outstanding team come playoff time.
The REVolution have major advantages it seems in almost every statistical category vs. the Davis Cowboys. For example, the REV have scored 313 points so far this season. The all time record for points scored in a season is held by the 2006 Madison Lions with 396. Also, the most points scored ever in 1 game is held by the Madison Lions with a victory over Fort Hall in 2002. There has never been a team record 100 points in a football game in RMFL history.
Please come out and support the Wasatch Revolution for the final regular season home game! Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Bingham High School on 10600 s and 2160 w. South Jordan, UT.
Here are some game notables:
Jordan Valley Medical Center will be out in full force as this game is sponsored by them. Thank you Jordan Valley!
The REV defense will look to put a stranglehold on the RMFL with the #1 ranking defense.
The REV offense will look to put up major points and maintain the #1 ranking offense.
The REV are counting on your fan support for another wonderful RMFL football game!
